Robert Daley
Robert Daley studied art at the University of Pittsburgh earning a B.A. in Studio Arts in 1972. He opened his studio gallery, South Hills Art Center, in 1979 and has been a practicing artist specializing in portraiture for nearly forty years.
He has a long list of satisfied portrait clients from all walks of life including many notable individuals from corporations, churches, and government.
Robert has done work for Medrad and GlaxoSmithKline in the form of large mural-like canvases that hang in their Pittsburgh headquarters.
An award winning artist, Robert has exhibited and been recognized by the Pittsburgh Society of Artists and South Hills Art League. He has served on the boards of both organizations.
His teaching experience spans more than 30 years, having taught for Community College of Allegheny and continuing with his own class in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.
In May of 2014 Robert celebrated his 35th year in business as an artist and gallery owner.
