Ollivier Koval
Koval was born in Sète (France) in 1953, but he moved to Tolón when he was 15 years old. At the age of 25, he finally settled in Marsella with his family.
It was in Tolón where he attended his first painting studies at the School of Fine Arts. When he became an adult he traveled around the country, specifically to the city of Valence, delving into impressionism of the time and having his first contacts with galleries.
On his first steps as a painter he did exhibitions in Cultural centers, banks and official institutions, and his first individual exhibition was in 1981.
Currently, Koval has made more than 100 individual exhibitions in the best national and international galleries. His paintings are spread out in European, America and South American countries, consisting on more than 500 seascapes exclusively of the Atlantic and Mediterranean seas.
